ELNEC Pediatric Palliative Care Seminars (English)
The ELNEC Pediatric Palliative Care Course is now available on Cure4Kids! This course was developed for health care professionals to provide a more thorough understanding of how the end of child's life impacts families, friends, and care givers. The ten modules of this course will address different aspects of coping with a terminal illness and provide insights into the bereavement process. Understanding this topic is critical to providing care for patients, as well as emotional and spiritual support to survivors.
This course is part of the End of Life Nursing Education Consortium Pediatric Palliative Care (ELNEC-PPC) training program. The ELNEC project is a national end-of-life care nursing education initiative administered by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, Washington, D.C., and City of Hope National Medical Center, Duarte, California. The ELNEC-PPC was supported by a grant from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
This on-line presentation of ELNEC - Pediatric Palliative Care was a collaborative effort among Cure4kids of the International Outreach Program of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the City of Hope Medical Center and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
