- Exceptional effectiveness and clarity of definition of cancer- Exceptional communication of how cancer relates to topic (tobacco or UV rays)- Exceptional communication of cancer prevention methods

Audience (10%)

- Exceptional use of design elements which target 5-11 year old children or grades K-5 (or international equivalent)- Clearly used additional research to design for optimal usability by this age group and target demographic- Skill level required to use project is at child’s level

- All content is appropriate for children and written on a child’s reading/developmental level

- Fundamental design elements are targeted to 5-11 year old children or grades K-5 (or international equivalent)- Skill level required to interact or use project is appropriate for children- All content is appropriate for children and written on a child’s reading/developmental level - Design is not targeted to children or skill level is too advanced for ages 5 to 11 or grades K-5 (or international equivalent)- Content is inappropriate for children

Fun/Engaging (20%)

-Would reasonably capture and hold the attention of children ages 5-11- Consistent positive emotional response for user; highly enjoyable- Reward or gain in addition to knowledge and achievement  of learning goals

Quality of Presentation (10%)

- Polished, organized delivery of submission- Exceptionally concise, accurate, and clear in all documentation and entry requirements- Exceptional descriptions in questions and answers in application

- Free of grammar and/or spelling errors

- No bugs or programming errors

- Project is polished visually and technically- Project text has minimal or no grammatical and/or spelling errors- Minimal or no bugs

-Participant completes questions in project submission form with sufficient information to understand project

Accuracy (10%)
